Eagle Golfers Pounded by Mustangs Again

For the second time in a week, the Brown County boys golf team lost to the Edgewood Mustangs. The Eagles dropped their home match 161 to 195 to a very well balanced and talented Mustang team. "Edgewood is simply better than we are, so the loss is not difficult to take. What is troublesome is the fact that we cannot put a quality score together on our home course. I firmly believe we should have been 10-15 strokes better than what we were," said Brown County coach Brad Baughman. Wesley Arndt led the Eagles with a 44, his best nine hole round of the season. Other Eagle scores: Clay Austin 49, Bradley Arndt 50, Liam Cassiday 52, Jon Kirchhofer 58, and Will Hiatt 67. After a four-day break, the Eagles will return to action on Tuesday, May 30 when they host the Owen Valley Patriots in an 18 hole match starting at 1:00 P.M.
