Tri Match Split for Golfers

In a home tri-match Wednesday afternoon, the golfers lost to Indian Creek but defeated Mooresville Christian Academy to gain a split. The Eagles posted a 202, just nine strokes behind the Braves' 193 and 23 strokes better than MCA's 225. Wesley Arndt led Brown County with a 46. Other Eagle scores: Liam Cassiday 50, Clay Austin 51, Jon Kirchhofer 55, Bradley Arndt 57. and Will Hiatt 64. "We have not played well on our home course, and that is frustrating and perplexing. We really should be 12-15 strokes better than what we were Wednesday," said Eagle coach Brad Baughman. The Eagles play Eastern Greene High School Thursday, May 18, at Stone Crest Golf Course in Bedford.
