The golfers traveled to Timbergate Golf Course Wednesday afternoon for a tri-match with Edinburgh and Hauser. Although neither of those schools was able to field a complete team, the Eagles still enjoyed playing the well manicured Timbergate course and shot a 227, just two strokes higher than their current nine hole average. "At least three schools on our schedule have had fewer than four players, and I applaud their willingness to continue to compete. As I stated at the beginning of the season, we felt very fortunate to have six girls come out for the team so we could have a scoring team. Our girls were excited to play Timbergate, and we need to compete and play unfamiliar courses so we will be better prepared for the IHSAA sectional which is just over a week away," said Brad Baughman, Eagle co-coach. Senior Chloe Poling led the Eagles with a 49, good for medalist honors. She got scoring support from juniors Caitlynn Lookebill with a 55, Cami Keaton with a 59, and Nevaeh Caito with a season best 64. Other BCHS scores: Maggie Gredy 66, and Jazmyn Kolacz 72.
