The Brown County High School boys golf team, playing their second home match of the season, cruised past the visiting Mitchell Bluejackets 195-272 Wednesday afternoon at Salt Creek Golf Retreat. The Eagles got another strong performance from their #1 golfer Clay Austin, who took medalist honors with a 40. "Clay has been striking the ball really well. His course management skills are improving as well. That combination has led to an increased level of confidence that will serve him well as we head into the final third of our season," stated coach Brad Baughman. Other BCHS scores: Bradley Arndt 48, Wesley Arndt 49, Liam Cassiday 58, Jon Kirchhofer 59, and Will Hiatt 63. The golfers are idle until Tuesday, May 9, when they host the Hauser Jets.
