By Brad Baughman | Sep 5, 2025 12:00 AM

With a season best round of 207, the Eagles defeated Beech Grove (244) and Herron Riverside (No team score) Thursday afternoon at Salt Creek Golf Retreat. "Three weeks ago we opened the season at Salt Creek with a 249. Today, we were 42 strokes better. The numbers definitely support the idea that we are improving, and that is always our goal," said Brown County co-coach Brad Baughman. Grabbing medalist honors for the second consecutive match with a 44 was senior Chloe Poling. Poling got support from juniors Cami Keaton and Caitlynn Lookebill. Keaton fired a personal best 48, while Lookebill carded a respectable 50. Other BCHS scores: Maggie Gredy 65, Nevaeh Caito 71, and Jazmyn Kolacz 72. The Eagles will be busy next week with matches scheduled for Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. They will host the Owen Valley Patriots Tuesday, September 9, at 5:00 P.M.
