The Eagle golfers tied their season-low nine hole score, a 195, and finished second in a tri-match Monday afternoon with Edinburgh and Waldron at Timbergate Golf Course. Edinburgh fired a 173 on their home course to win the match, while Waldron finished third with a 214. "It was nice to have three scores below 50 for the first time this season. Bradley Arndt shot a season best 48, and that helped considerably," said coach Brad Baughman. BCHS scoring: Clay Austin 45, Wesley Arndt 47, Bradley Arndt 48, Liam Cassiday 55, Will Hiatt 63, Jon Kirchhofer 67. The Eagles return to Timbergate Thursday to compete in a match with Southwestern Shelby High School. "I believe we can whittle a few more strokes off that 195 and look forward to establishing a new season-low score on Thursday," said Baughman. Congratulations to Edinburgh's Max Blanford who took medalist honors with a one under 35.
