The Eagles finished second in a tri-match played at Foxcliff Golf Course with host Martinsville High School and Indian Creek High School. The Artesians fired a 185 on their home course, while the Eagles recorded a 211 to narrowly grab the second spot from the Braves who finished with a 214. Though the conditions were ideal, the Eagles struggled somewhat with the length of the course and their unfamiliarity with the course. "I saw several quality golf shots from our players today, and I am confident that with time and practice, our scores will improve," said coach Brad Baughman. Brown County individual scoring: Clay Austin 48, Wesley Arndt 49, Bradley Arndt 55, Liam Cassiday 59, Jon Kirchhofer 59, and Will Hiatt 69. The Eagles compete Thursday at Cascades Golf Course in Bloomington in a tri-match with Edgewood and Owen Valley.
