The boys track and field team began their outdoor season in a three-way meet with Bloomington North and BNL. The boys finished third overall. The top two relays and four places in the individual events score in a three-way meet. Rafe Silbaugh finished fourth overall in the 800 with a time of 2:14.99. Chase Austin was second in the 1600 with a time of 4:36.20. Running his first race ever in the 300 hurdles, Cord Smith took third in 46.47. In the discus, Wyatt Sutter also took third with a throw of 122-01. In the relays, the Eagles took second in the 4x400 with a 3:45.78 and second in the 4x800, clocking a 9:09.07. That team consisted of Cord and Case Smith, Austin, and Silbaugh. The Eagles return to action at home Thursday with a 5:30 start against Edgewood and Martinsville.
