The Eagles split a tri-match Thursday, April 17, at Rolling Meadows Golf Course. The Edgewood Mustangs shot a 161 to win the match, while Brown County carded a 181 for second, and the host school, the Owen Valley Patriots, took third with a 195. Once again it was senior Wesley Arndt leading the way for the Eagles with a 43. Arndt got scoring support from senior Noah Lewis with a 45, junior Cole Wright with a 45, and freshman Parker Arndt with a 48. Other BCHS scores: Liam Cassiday 51, Colbie VanZuiden 51, Finn Silbaugh 52, and Jackson Daugherty 68. The 181 posted by the Eagles was their best score of the young season. Early morning storms Saturday, April 19, forced the cancellation of the Mustang Invitational. Next up for the Eagles is a home match with Brownstown Central on Monday, April 21.
