Eagles Settle for 2nd in Tri-Match

The Hauser Jets' 1-2 punch of Hunter Pappano and Brenden Burton was just too much for the Eagles to overcome in a tri-match Thursday at Clifty Creek Golf Course. Pappano took medalist honors with a 38 while Burton claimed the next best score with a 44 to lead the Jets who carded a team score of 186, nipping the Eagles (194) by eight strokes. Morristown finished a distant third with a 240. Freshman Parker Arndt led the way for Brown County with a 46. Other Eagle scores: Wesley Arndt 47, Noah Lewis 50, Colbie VanZuiden 51, Cash Harden 52, Liam Cassiday 55, Cole Wright 55, and Finn Silbaugh 57. The Eagles will compete in the twelve team Artesian Classic Saturday, April 12, at Foxcliff Golf Club in Martinsville. The tournament tees off at 1:00 P.M.
