Brown County High School

Cold temperatures, brisk winds, and an occasional rain shower did not keep the Eagles from grabbing a season opening win over the Edinburgh Lancers Wednesday afternoon at Timbergate Golf Course. Brown County posted a 188, while the Lancers finished with a 245. Five of the eight Eagle golfers who competed in the match were playing in their first high school match. Earning medalist honors was Eagle senior Wesley Arndt with a 42. Other Brown County scores: Colbie VanZuiden 47, Noah Lewis 49, Liam Cassiday 50, Parker Arndt 50, Cash Harden 52, Finn Silbaugh 58, and Cole Wright 64. The Eagles are back in action Thursday, April 10, when they travel to Clifty Creek Golf Course to take on the Hauser Jets. The match is scheduled to start at 4:30 P.M.
