The 2025 boys golf team boasts its largest roster in years as 13 golfers have elected to participate this season. Leading the way for the Eagles are seniors Wesley Arndt and Liam Cassiday, who have been contributing members of the squad the last three seasons. Arndt anchored the #2 spot last season, while Cassiday alternated between the #3 and #4 positions. A couple of upperclassmen, senior Noah Lewis and junior Cash Harden, will be competing for the first time in their high school careers, and both of them should help bolster the Eagle line up. Other players vying for varsity opportunities are sophomore Colbie VanZuiden, a returner from last season, juniors Clayton McGlothlin and Cole Wright, and freshman Parker Arndt. Rounding out the Eagle roster are five players new to the game - senior Jackson Daugherty, sophomore Cayden Cecil, and freshmen Diesel McMillion, Logan Peck, and Finn Silbaugh. The Eagles open the season with Edinburgh at Timbergate Golf Course on April 9. Invitational tournaments on the schedule include the Martinsville Artesian Classic April 12, the Edgewood Mustang Invitational April 19, and the New Castle Invitational May 24. The Western Indiana Conference tournament is set for May 17 at Cascades Golf Course in Bloomington, where the Eagles will be planning to improve on last season's fourth place finish.
