Brown County 1 Edinburgh 4 On the night that honors our seniors, Owen East and Trevor Shields the Eagles were defeated by the Lancers from Edinburgh. This duo bringing their careers full circle played doubles for their final match at the BCHS courts. It was a dominant victory for them, at 6-0, 6-2. It was a real joy to see the smiles on their faces as each player took turns putting away shot after shot. I am glad that these two leaders got to end their home careers in such fashion. The rest of the team were competitive in their matches. Jax Burt playing #1 singles had a close match, which he eventually lost in a third set tie break. The Eagles finished their season with 0 wins and 16 losses. They finished 0-8 in the Western Indiana Conference. The Eagles will play host Bloomington South in the sectionals on Wednesday. 10/2.
