Road Win for Golfers

The Eagles traveled west to Rolling Meadows Golf Course in Gosport Tuesday afternoon to take on the Owen Valley Patriots and came away with a convincing victory. Brown County posted its best nine hole score of the season, a 194, while the Patriots recorded a 215. Lilly VanNess shot an even par 36 to once again lead the Eagles. Chloe Poling took a 45, while Katie Johnson and Caitlynn Lookebill pitched in with a 56 and 57 respectively. With the victory, the Eagles pushed their record in dual and tri-matches to 9-2 and their overall record including tournaments to 23-9. The Eagles will play in the Franklin Central Invitational Saturday, September 14, at Smock Golf Course in Indianapolis.
