Eagles Fall to Knights Away

The Brown County High School boys soccer team travelled away to Northview High School on Saturday, September 7th. The Eagles were a bit thin on numbers because two players were out due to injury and illness. One of those players was the Eagle's starting goalkeeper. Colbie Van Zuiden stepped in-between the sticks for this conference game. The Eagles went down early in the first half and struggled to get a foot in the game. They went into the second half with a big deficit of 6-0. However, things would improve for the Eagles in the second half as the Knights would only have two shots on goal to the Eagles 5 shots. Abram Taylor would score the teams first goal of the season from a very nicely struck freekick from a tight angle. The match would end 6-1 to the Knights. The Eagles are back in action on Tuesday, September 10th as they take on Seven Oaks Classical at home.
