The four-day Labor Day break proved to be a plus for the Eagles as they posted their best home-course score of the season, 199, and used that performance Tuesday afternoon to get past the visiting Jennings County Panthers who finished with a 233. Lilly VanNess led the field with an even par 36 and got plenty of help from her Eagle teammates. Chloe Poling had a 48; Caitlynn Lookebill shot a 57; Ava Sanders, playing in only her second match of the season, posted a 58, and Katie Johnson recorded a 61. The Eagles are home again Wednesday, September 4, when they host a tri-match with Edinburgh and Hauser scheduled for 4:30 P.M.
