After dropping a home match to Bloomington High School South on Wednesday, the Eagles were back on their home course Thursday afternoon and left with a win over the Indian Creek Braves, 210 to 242. Lilly VanNess carded an even par round of 36 to help the Eagles to their best score at Salt Creek Golf Retreat this season. Chloe Poling, Caitlynn Lookebill, and Katie Johnson each shot a 58. For Johnson, it was a season-best score. Ava Sanders played in her first match of the season and posted a 72. The Eagles compete in the Western Indiana Conference tournament Saturday, August 24, at Forest Park Golf Course in Brazil. Last season the team finished second to the host school, Northview. VanNess, last year's conference medalist, will be out to defend her title. Brown County is paired with Northview and Edgewood. Players will tee off at 9:00 A.M.
