The Eagles hosted an 18 hole quad match Tuesday at Salt Creek Golf Retreat and came away victorious. Posting a season low 18 hole score of 359, Brown County squeaked by Indy Genesis (360), outdistanced Morristown (487), and defeated Trinity Lutheran (no team score). "This was a really good tune-up for us as we prepare for the IHSAA Sectional coming up Monday, June 3 at Cascades Golf Course in Bloomington," stated Brown County coach Brad Baughman. "We have played Cascades three times this season, so we are definitely familiar with it. I expect us to play well Monday," added Baughman. BCHS scores: Wesley Arndt 84; Clay Austin 88; Liam Cassiday 93; Jon Kirchhofer 94; Cord Smith 108; Colbie VanZuiden 113; Will Hiatt 114; and Brandon Saechao 117. Following the match, the team honored its five seniors - Clay Austin, Jon Kirchhofer, Will Hiatt, Brandon Saechao, and Cord Smith. "They are five outstanding young men, and I know they will do well as they pursue their ambitions," said Baughman.
