Eagles Shoot Season Low Score in Win over Eastern Greene

The Brown County High School boys golf team posted a 173, its lowest nine hole score of the season, and got a victory over the Eastern Greene High School Thunderbirds Wednesday at Salt Creek Golf Retreat. Taking medalist honors was the Eagles' Clay Austin who fired a 39, his third sub 40 round of the season. The Eagles got great balance to support Austin. Liam Cassiday shot a 44, while Wesley Arndt and Jon Kirchhofer each carded a 45. Other BCHS scores: Brandon Saechao 52, Will Hiatt 56, Cord Smith 57, and Colbie VanZuiden 59. The Eagles will compete in the New Castle Invitational Saturday, May 18, at Westwood Golf Club in New Castle.
