Brown County High School

The Eagles played a quad match with host Hauser High School, Jac-Cen-Del High School, and Morristown High School Tuesday, May 7 at Clifty Creek Golf Course and returned home victorious. Brown County posted a 178 to outdistance Jac-Cen-Del 206, and Hauser 207. Morristown did not field a complete team. Clay Austin carded a 39, tying for medalist honors, to lead the Eagles. Other BCHS scores: Wesley Arndt 45; Jon Kirchhofer 46; Liam Cassiday 48; Will Hiatt 53; and Colbie VanZuiden 54 (season best). The Eagles will spend the next three afternoons preparing for the WIC champiionship slated for Saturday, May 11, at Cascades Golf Course in Bloomington. The tournament will feature a shotgun start at 9:00 A.M. Pairings have not yet been released.
