Brown County High School

Written by Christy Wrightsman The Brown County High School Girls' Track & Field Team competed in a three-way track meet on Tuesday, April 30th at Columbus East High School. The girls earned six points against Shelbyville High School and Columbus East High School. Highlights of the meet include a first place finish from sophomore Sadie Hiatt in the 1600 m run. Sadie earned five points with this first place finish. Leane Hash, a freshman for the Eagles, took fourth place in the 200 m dash and earned the team one point. We are very proud of the 12 personal records that were set by the Lady Eagles. We want to congratulate Jordyn Nicols who earned the team's Eagle Baton for her establishing a personal record in the 4x100m relay and 200m dash. The Eagles will be run at home on Thursday, May 2nd. Come out and support our seniors, Livie Austin and Clare Endris at their last home track meet.
