Brown County senior Clay Austin shot a season best 40, good for medalist honors, but the Eagles could not compete with Edgewood's balance and dropped a home match to the Mustangs Wednesday afternoon, 184-195. Three other Eagles posted season best scores as well. Seniors Will Hiatt and Cord Smith took a 55 and 60 respectively, while freshman Colbie VanZuiden carded a 59. Other BCHS scores: Jon Kirchhofer 47, Liam Cassiday 53, and Brandon Saechao 65. Next up for the golfers is the Artesian Classic at Foxcliff Golf Course this Saturday, April 20. The Eagles, paired with Indianapolis Ritter and Indy Genesis, tee off at 1:00 P.M.
