Girls' Track and Field Highlights for April 16th

The Girls' Track & Field team competed in a 3-way meet at home on Tuesday, April 16th. The Eagles scored 12 points against Martinsville and Bloomington South. The Girl's 4x800 m Relay team consisting of Sadie Hiatt, Livie Austin, Izzy Miller, and Megan Cumberledge took first place earning the team five points. Della Hitchcock was a first place finisher who earned another five points for the Eagles in the 3200m run. Leanne Hash placed third in the 200m dash with a time of 28.99 and secured two more points for the Eagles. The Eagle Spirit Baton was passed from Megan Cumberledge to Leanne Hash for her team contribution in four events, new personal record, and third place finish. The Lady Eagles will participate in the Talon Relays on Saturday, April 20th at the Brown County High School Daily Hill Field beginning at 10:35 AM with field events starting at 10:45 AM.
