By Colton Sample | Aug 30, 2022 9:17 AM

The Eagles came up short against 4A Jennings County on Friday with a final score of 46-6. Jennings County got out to an early lead, scoring on their second offensive play. The Eagles immediately answered back when Sophomore Ben Wagler took the ensuing kick-off back 85 yards for a touchdown. The Eagles defense stalled the Panthers on following drive forcing 2 separate forth downs before eventually forcing JC off the field. The Eagle's Defense, led by Senior Oli Normile's 10 tackles, 2 TFLs, and 2 Sacks, definitely had spurts of the game where they showed to be improved from their Week 1 loss. BC was able to force a fumble and recorded 2 sacks against the Jennings County Offense. The Eagles will travel to Cloverdale next Friday, September 2nd, for their first WIC game of the year.
