The Eagles swept all positions in straight sets. After being on the other end of a 0-5 loss, the Eagles showed character by keeping their celebrations from being too much. It was good to see this team get a win after coming so close a few times this season. Sophomore Noah Freeman was selected to receive the walkover at 3 singles to give the Eagles a 1-0 start. Sophomores Nolan MCFall and Nicklaus Arndt were next, adding a convincing win and securing them as one of the best doubles teams in the MHC. The deciding point was a toss up as senior Jax Burt at #1 singles and juniors Barrett Lasley and Audric Dunn completed their respective matches almost simultaneously . It came down to sophomore Bryan Teague to finish the sweep, which he did with a solid 6-4 win. The Eagles will finish 1-4 in their new conference and will continue to work toward a MHC championship in the near future. The Eagles will compete on Thursday against Jennings County and the varsity will play for all-conference honors on Saturday, September 19 as they participate in the MHC tournament. Coach Roush
