The cross country teams wrapped up their 2023 season this afternoon at the Evansville Regional. Seven Eagles had individually qualified from last weekend’s sectional competition. Charlie Webb finished his cross-country career with a near season-best of 17:58. Eli Wrightsman was also very close to his career-best time, clocking an 18:46. Senior Corbin Brahaum also finished out his cross-country career with an 18:50, which was within a second of his best. Freshman, Aden Skaggs continued his recent trend of setting personal records as he dipped under the 19’s with an 18:55. This was a personal record by 14 seconds. Kai Koester was the final Eagle finisher across the line in 19:34. For the girls, Sadie Hiatt was the first Eagle across the line in 23:22 and Izzy Miller finished with a 23:27. With 5 of the 7 qualifiers returning, the future looks bright for the Eagles.
