The Eagles hosted two matches last week, a tri-match on Tuesday, August 25 with Brownstown Central and Edgewood, and a dual match with Southwestern Shelby on Thursday, August 27. On Tuesday, the Eagles posted a 234, good enough to get by Brownstown's 242 but several strokes off the 216 that Edgewood recorded. Seniors Caitlynn Lookebill and Cami Keaton led the Eagles with a 52 and 55 respectively. Other BCHS scores: Nevaeh Caito 63, Jazmyn Kolacz 64, Maggie Gredy 71, and Mea Hart 71. The Eagles' score ballooned to a 261 on Thursday, but they were still able to claim victory over the Southwestern Spartans who were unable to field a complete team. Eagle scores: Cami Keaton 57, Maggie Gredy 65, Nevaeh Caito 68, Ali Schrader 71, and Mea Hart 72. Brown County plays three consecutive road matches this week - Monday, August 31 with Hauser at Clifty Creek GC; Tuesday, September 1 with Jennings County at St. Annes GC; and then a Thursday, September 3 match with Beech Grove at Sarah Shank GC.
