This experienced group of Braves was everything as advertised, just a solid team top to bottom. #1 singles player Jax Burt played a very solid hitter that kept him pinned back on the baseline, but he still played very well, just beaten by a better player. #2 singles player, Bryan Teague had his best outing so far of the season and came a few shots away from winning his first set.. If that happens, who knows where the final score would be. Senior Jacob Voland took a little longer to find his groove in his first set, but came within a game or two of taking his second set. He did gain much needed match experience. Our doubles teams Nolan McFall and Niclaus Arndt at number one and Jax Anderson and Barrett Lasley at number two had the opportunity to play four seniors who just used their years of experience to defeat the younger Eagles. This was a great opportunity for the entire Eagle team to play as Indian Creek had enough players to ensure that each Eagle got to play a match. Each JV member once again got to gain valuable match play and that will help them in the future. Freshmen Michael Lee and Roan Brahaum gained their first high tennis victory.
