After severe weather kept the Brown County High School girls golf team from getting in their first three scheduled matches, the Eagles were finally able to get on the course and compete. The Eagles hosted the Crothersville Tigers Wednesday, August 19, and came away with a 253-273 victory. Eagle scores: Caitlynn Lookebill 58, Cami Keaton 58, Maggie Gredy 68, Jazmyn Kolacz 69, Mea Hart 69, and Neveah Caito 72. Then on Thursday, the Eagles improved their score to 248 but were defeated soundly by a Bloomington South team that posted a 198. The Panthers Lyla Haugh captured medalist honors with a 44. Brown County scores: Caitlynn Lookebill 53, Cami Keaton 60, Neveah Caito 66, Jazmyn Kolacz 69, Maggie Gredy 70, and Mea Hart 70. Brown County will compete in the Bedford North Lawrence Invitational Saturday, August 22, at Otis Park Golf Course.
