The cross country team traveled to Terre Haute Saturday night for the annual Nike Twilight meet under the lights at the LaVerne Gibson Championship Course. In the very competitive field, the boys finished 59th of 87 teams. Several Eagles, for both the boys and girls, had either their personal or career best times on the night. Charlie Webb paced the boys team. He finished in a time of 18:20. Not far behind him was Kai Koester. Koester clocked an 18:36. Corbin Brahaum was also in the 18’s as he ran an 18:49. Josh Redmon ran a 19:27 and Eli Wrightsman finished in 19:33 to round out the top 5 for the Eagles. Other boy finishers for the Eagles are listed below. On the girl’s side, the Eagles only had 4 girls finish so they did not have a team score. Freshman Izzy Miller continued her steady improvement, running a time of 23:10. Sadie Hiatt followed behind Miller in 23:52. Megan Cumberledge ran a 25:05 and Della Hitchcock came through in 28:08. The Eagles will run next at home on Saturday in the WIC Championship.
