The Eagles are in a position that they have not been in for a long time. The Eagles nest is the fullest it has been in years with 19 players. The Eagles are led by three year varsity and reigning MVP in senior Jax Burt. He will play one of our number one spots (singles or doubles). His leadership last winter brought some of our younger players together to continue to work on their game in the off season. He will be joined by fellow senior, Jacob Voland although this is Jacob's first year playing tennis for BCHS his game is progressing well. Three of the five juniors from last year are returning, Jax Anderson, Logan Peck, and Diesel McMillion along with the addition of Barrett Lasley this group has continued to work hard and will push to be a part of the varsity lineup. The sophomore group returns three varsity players in Nolan McFall, Nicklaus Arndt, and Bryan Teague and each one continues to improve and develop their game and will be relied upon to continue what they started last year. The Eagles added two new sophomores in Colin Loy and Noah Freeman, these two along with Tyler Webb and Bennet Still will add needed depth for the Eagles. This might be the biggest freshman class that the Eagles have had in a few years. The Eagles will be joined by Gage Barnett, Cole Couch, Cash McMillion, Quintin Voland, Michael Lee, and Roan Brahaum. Each one of these players brings a unique perspective and energy to the team. As the season progresses, this group will gain valuable experience and will push their teammates to keep improving their game. The Eagles have re-joined the Mid Hoosier Conference (MHC) and look to compete for a conference title this year and potentially have numerous all conference players.. This is one of the deepest Eagles teams in the last seven years. As with all Eagles tennis teams, they will compete until the last shot is out, win with grace and lose with dignity. Coach Roush expects nothing less, as this has been the hallmark of a Brown County tennis player. The Eagles are looking forward to a great season. The Eagles will scrimmage former WIC foe Edgewood on Thursday, August 13, 2026 at the BCHS tennis courts. They will open the season on August 18, 2026 against new MHC opponent Waldron at the BCHS tennis courts. Coach Roush
