Four seniors will lead this year's team as the Eagles transition from the Western Indiana Conference to the Mid Hoosier Conference. Three of those four, Cami Keaton, Nevaeh Caito, and Maggie Gredy, were all first year players last year, while the fourth, Caitlynn Lookebill, returns for her fourth year as a varsity player. Junior Jazmyn Kolacz, who also played last year for the first time, is also back for the 2026 season, so the Eagles will be putting some experienced players on the course when the season begins. Freshman Alison Schrader is picking up the game for the first time and joins the roster. "Caitlynn has shown significant improvement each of the last three seasons. Earning All-Conference honors last season gave her a nice shot of confidence, and I believe she is poised to have a productive senior season," said Eagle co-coach Brad Baughman. "If she can get it dialed in, and Cami, Maggie, Nevaeh, and Jazmyn show steady improvement, we could be a solid team by early September," Baughman added. New teams on the Eagle schedule this season are Mid Hoosier foes North Decatur and South Decatur, and non conference opponent, Crothersville. Brown County will compete in the Bedford North Lawrence Invitational on August 22 at Otis Park Golf Course and then will vie for the Mid Hoosier Conference title on September 12 at North Branch Golf Course. The Eagles open their season Tuesday, August 11 when they host Brownstown Central and Edgewood in a tri match starting at 5:00 pm.
