Eagles Drop Season Opener to Owen Valley

Owen Valley, the defending WIC and Section Champions, defeated the Eagles Friday Night in the season opener 77-7. The lone score for the Eagles came in the second quarter on an 11 yard touchdown pass from Sophomore QB Noah Lewis, who connected with Sophomore Running Back Ben Wagler. On the very next Owen Valley possesion, Junior Brady Bond helped out defensively with an interception off OV's All-Conference Quarterback. The Eagles are back at Daily F. Hill Field next week for a 7:00pm kick-off with 4A Jennings County.
