The Eagles shot a 185 and split their home tri-match Thursday afternoon, losing to West Washington (175), and defeating Southwestern Shelby (196). Eagle sophomore Parker Arndt posted a team low 41, two strokes off the 39 posted by medalist Tucker Bishop of West Washington. Other Eagles contributing to the score were Rilan Purlee with a 47, Carter Hawley with a 48, and Kareem Taiwo with a personal best 49. Other BCHS scores: Colbie VanZuiden 50, Archer Egenolf 50, Nicklaus Arndt 51, and Trey Fowler 55. "It sure was nice to see Parker bounce back after a tough round on Wednesday. Today's score is more representative of where he should be. And we got a nice boost from Kareem, who just keeps on improving," said Brad Baughman, Eagle coach. The Eagles have no Saturday event scheduled but will be back in action Monday, May 4, when they travel to Cascades Golf Course for a tri-match with Edgewood and Owen Valley, scheduled to start at 5:00 p.m.
