The Eagles, along with 14 other determined teams, slogged it out on a cool, rainy Saturday morning and finished 8th with a team score of 376 in the Edgewood Mustang Invitational at Cascades Golf Course in Bloomington. Pacing the Eagles was junior Colbie VanZuiden who posted an 88. Seven strokes behind him were sophomores Parker Arndt and Finn Silbaugh with 95's. Freshmen Carter Hawley and Rilan Purlee carded a 98 and 105 respectively. "Considering the brutal weather conditions and the fact that we played the ball down for the first time this season, our scores were solid. The boys just stayed with it, never complained, and gave it their best effort," said Eagle coach Brad Baughman. The Eagles will jump right back into action Monday, April 20, when they travel to Hickory Hills Golf Course to compete with the Brownstown Central Braves in a 5:00 p.m. match.
