Brown County 0 Bedford North Lawrence (BNL) 5 The Eagles finished their weather postponed match against the Stars from BNL tonight. The match was not decided when an extensive lighting delay halted the match. The Eagles were down a set or had already been defeated at all positions. The #2 doubles team of Cord Smith and Trevor Shields had already completed their match and were spectators tonight. Our #1 singles player Jack Sichting had a tough spot as he jumped right into a tie break for the second set. #2 Singles player Owen East also found himself looking at an uphill challenge starting out with a love (0) - 30 score in his match. Brandon Saechao playing at #3 singles was up 4-3 in his match, but eventually was on the wrong side of a tie break 4-7. The #1 doubles team of Jon Kirchhofer and Jax Burt were coming back at 3-4 but were defeated 5-7 for the final point for the Stars. This was a new experience for the Eagles to have to come back and finish a weather delayed match.
