The eagles played a great game on Tuesday night against a good Owen Valley team. It was another physical game but an exciting one. Owen Valley scored first from an own goal by the eagles. Later in the first half, at the 24:35 mark Carter Norcutt was able to score his first of three goals from an assist by Cash Harden. Then, to finish off the half OV scored a goal off a corner kick. Putting the eagles down 2-1 at halftime. It was a very back and forth game. The eagles continued to play hard and play as a team in the second half. Carter Norcutt scored his second goal from an assist by Clayton Mcglothian. This tied the game and brought even more intensity to it. With 25:00 to go in the game the eagles punched in another goal by Carter Norcutt, securing a hat trick. The goal was assisted by Aaron Woodrum off of a free kick. The eagles would go on to maintain the lead and get a conference win. It was great to see them win on senior night. Mareck Reeves had another great game and had a total of 6 saves. The eagles are back in action Thursday against @ Lighthouse Christian (Bloomington).
