Girls soccer has fought hard in the first two games of the season and are still seeking that first victory. In the season opener at North Putnam High School, BC got out to a quick start scoring in the first 4 minutes but then fell behind before the end of the half. While we were knocking on the door to tie the game in the final seconds, we just couldn't connect and ended up losing 4-3. Ava Stogsdill: 2 goals, River Ford:1 goal, Anna Tipton:5 saves. In the home opener versus Jennings County, BC again took the lead in the first half only to see it disappear in the second. With 12 minutes remaining, we were able to scrap for a second goal to tie it up at 2-2 which is how the game ended. Hailey Wampler: 1 goal, Ava Stogsdill: 1 goal, Anna Tipton: 10 saves.
