The Eagles followed up their runner-up WIC performance with a solid victory over Jennings County Tuesday at St. Anne's Golf Course. Brown County posted a season low 199, while the Panthers registered a 212. Highlighting the afternoon was the even par 35 round that the Eagle's #1 golfer Lilly VanNess turned in. VanNess' score tied the school's nine hole record which had previously been set by Emma Bawinkel and Ashley Masteller. Chloe Poling, playing in the #2 spot, fired a career best score of 46. Savannah Poling carded a 53, while Caitlin Seet and Caitlynn Lookebill had a 65 and 67 respectively. The Eagles will be back in action looking for another strong outing when they take on Edinburgh High School Wednesday, August 30 at Timbergate Golf Course.
