Brown County 0 Northview 5 Playing their second WIC opponent on consecutive days, the Eagles suffered another 0-5 defeat and fell to 0-2 in the WIC and 1-2 overall. The good news for the Eagles is they get a couple days off to re-group before they play two more matches next week and host the Makurat Invitational on Saturday, August 26th. The Eagles started out slow in this match, but came back in most of the matches to push their Knight's opponents to another level in order to defeat the pesky Eagles. The Eagles were led by #1 singles player Jack Sichting, who lost in three sets. The Eagles also saw some positive improvements from #2 singles player Owen East, Jon Kirchhofer at #3 singles and both of the doubles teams of Jax Burt and Trevor Shields at #1 and Cord Smith and Brandon Saechao at #2. Our junior varsity player Eli Vela and Robert Webb once again got to play a lot of tennis and continued to progress in their game.
