Eagle Golfers Split Tri-Match

The Eagles posted a 222 Thursday afternoon at Tameka Woods Golf Course, good enough to beat the host Indian Creek Braves who turned in a 238, but several strokes off Greenwood Christian Academy's winning total of 201. Lilly VanNess recorded a 42, her lowest score of the season, good for runner-up medalist. Savannah Poling had a 55; Chloe Poling shot a 56; Caitlynn Lookebill scored a 69, and Caitlin Seet had a 70 for the second place Eagles. The Eagles travel to Buffalo Trace Golf Course in Jasper Saturday, August 19, to compete in the fourteen-team Tony Blessinger Invitational hosted by Jasper High School. Golfers tee off at 12:30 P.M.
