Playing their third match of the season, the BCHS girls golf team posted a 219 Thursday afternoon to claim victory over the visiting Eastern Greene T-Birds who finished with a 248. Match medalist honors went to Eagle junior Lilly VaNess who fired a 46, while sophomore teammate Chloe Poling shot a 52, her best round of the young season. Other BCHS scores: Savannah Poling 56, Caitlin Seet 65, and Caitlynn Lookebill 71. The next match for the Eagles will be Thursday, August 17 when they play Indian Creek High School at Tameka Woods Golf Course.
