Fleetwood and Gradolf Compete at State Championship

Abby Fleetwood and Hadley Gradolf completed their sophomore cross country seasons Saturday at the state finals in Terre Haute.  Fleetwood covered the course in 19:37, placing 55th.  Gradolf placed 73rd in a time of 19:51.  This was Gradolf’s second consecutive appearance at the state finals.  Their appearance in the state finals marked the first time

Cross Country Hosts Western Indiana Conference Championship

Tuesday evening, BCHS hosted the Western Indiana Conference Cross Country Championship at Eagle Park.  Northview captured both the girls and boys team titles.   Brown County finished fourth on both sides.   The Eagles had a couple All-Conference finishes on the girls’ side as Abby Fleetwood finished 4th in 19:09 and Hadley Gradolf was 6th in 19:21. 

Cross Country Hosts Annual Eagle Classic

Cross Country Competes at Columbus North Invitational

A new BCHS school record was set Saturday morning at the CERAland course in Columbus.  Sophomore, Abby Fleetwood topped the old record by 12 seconds, clocking an impressive early-season time of 18:47.  Fleetwood finished third in the small-school division.  Finishing closely behind her was sophomore, Hadley Gradolf. Gradolf took fourth in a personal-best time of 19:01. 

Cross Country Wins Mustang Invitational

The boys’ cross country team won the six-team Mustang Invitational Tuesday night at Edgewood.  The boys finished with 48 points and were followed by Eastern Greene, Clay City, Mitchell, Edgewood, and Orleans.  Chase Austin was the individual champion, clocking a time of 18:06. Cross Country Competes at Franklin Invitational

The BCHS Cross County teams took part in the Franklin Invitational on Saturday, August 29.
