Seniors Taylor Poling and Aubrey Hollander broke the “50” barrier for the first time in their careers with a 47 and 48 respectively, and fellow senior Allison Stogsdill added a 53 to propel the Eagles to victory over Edgewood and Bownstown Tuesday, August13, at Cascades Golf Course in Bloomington. Brown County picked up another quality score from sophomore Annika Evenson who fired a 54. Sophomore Ainslie Winton turned in a 56.
“Allison had a round or two in the 40’s last season, and Taylor and Aubrey have been close before. They were both ecstatic, and deservedly so,” said Coach Baughman following the match.
The Eagles next match will be Monday, August 19, when they host the Southwestern Shelby Spartans.
