In a highly competitive 3-way match on their home course, the Lady Eagles notched wins over Edgewood and Brownstown Central, topping the Mustangs by a single stroke and bettering the Brownstown Braves by six strokes.
The Eagles’ #1 player, Ashley Masteller, struggled most of the round but still managed to tie for medalist honors with a 49. Junior Allison Stogsdill carded a 50, one stroke behind the medalists, while freshman Ainslie Winton and junior Taylor Poling contributed to the win with scores of 55 and 59 respectively. Freshman Abby Padgett turned in a 68.
The team travels to Tameka Woods Thursday, August 9, to compete in another 3-way match with Cloverdale and the host school, Indian Creek. That match is scheduled to start at 5:00 P.M.
