The Lady Eagles battled back and forth with a tough Columbus East squad most of the night in a well played contest only to come up just short in the end. The game was characterized by mini-runs made by each team where no one saw there lead get much beyond 5 points the entire contest. The difference in the game ended up being an early 4th quarter run that allowed East to take over the lead and never let BC get within a single possession the rest of the way. The Lady Eagles once again featured a balanced scoring attack led by Gracie Matlock with 22, her first career 20 point game. Aubrey Hollander scored 17, her highest total since her freshman year. Allison Stogsdill chipped in 13 to round out 3 BC players in double figures. Next up for the Lady Eagles is a trip to WIC foe Northview on Friday.
