Behind senior Ashley Masteller’s 79, which claimed medalist honors, the BCHS Eagles grabbed the third spot in the twelve team WIC field at Forest Park Golf Course in Brazil with a 393. The host Northivew Knights, playing on their home course, captured first place shooting a 372. Indian Creek nosed out the Eagles for the second spot with a 384.

Masteller also picked up her fourth consecutive all-conference designation. While no other Eagle was able to finish in the top fifteen, freshman Ainslie Winton recorded a 99, one stroke above the cut line for all-conference honors. Juniors Allison Stogsdill and Taylor Poling shot a 102 and 113 respectively, while freshman Abby Padgett carded a 123.

The golfers have two home matches scheduled this week, the first with Eastern Greene on Wednesday, August 29, and the second, a rescheduled match with Indian Creek on Thursday, August 30.
