The eagles didn’t start the week like they wanted with a 2-3 loss to the tigers of Triton Central to kick off a 3 match homestand. With a little changing of the line up with our top three singles players, the got decisive victories for new #1 singles player Nolan Patterson and #2 singles player Josh Miller. Aidan Burt playing singles for just the second time this season lost a close first set tie break and then lost second set 2-6, but played well. Our doubles teams struggled with the attacking style of play of their counterparts but made adjustments and made the match a see saw battle with just a few little breaks not going our way.
Our jv players continued to get more valuable match experience that will continue to help them develop into better players for next year’s eagles. The eagles will face a tough Olympian squad on Wednesday.
