The eagles completed their regular season with their 20th victory tonight with a 4-1 win over the White River Valley wolverines. This marks the first time in program history that the eagles won 20 regular season matches. Our lone senior Aaron MaCann led his team one more time with a decisive victory at the position(#1 Singles) that he has held for two years, to finish the seaon with 17-4 record. Not to be outdone by his singles sparing partner sophomore and #2 singles player Josh Miller was victorious with a 6-1, 6-3 win to end the season with a 18-4 record. Our third singles player Reid Davis played hard and narrowly missed winning to finish with an even record, but instead fished his season at 9-11. Our #1 doubles players Aiden Burt (14-5) and Nolan Patterson (19-3) continued to play very good tennis in their straight set victory. The #2 doubles team of Noah Cochran (17-5) and Spencer Blee (16-5) were once again solid and dominant in their 6-3, 6-1 win. Our JV players once again were victorious in their matches. With losing only one senior from this year’s team, I feel very confident in our chances to continue to improves and Eli Sichting, Austen Deckard, and Daylen Dess will play a huge part in that future success. To have the opportunity to coach a sport that I love and to lead such a great group of players is awesome. I am extremely happy with our season, but I am more proud of the character of this team. They are one really great group of guys. I am proud to be their coach.

Record 20-2 (WIC 7-1 Second Place)
