The Eagles traveled to Clifty Creek Golf Course for a dual match with Hauser, shot a score matching their current season average, but lost to the Jets 177 – 184. Hauser’s Justin Compton took medalist honors with an even par 36. One stroke behind him with a 37 and leading the Eagles was Parker VanNess.
“Until we can get some players to shave off a few strokes and turn in some low and mid 40’s scores, we will continue to post team scores in the 180’s, and it is tough to beat quality opponents with those scores,” stated Coach Baughman.
Other BCHS scores: Ben Rygiel 47, Peyton Proctor 49, Curtis Lookebill 52, Brendon Asher 52, Rex Watters 58, Emerey Brock 65, and Jake Huddleston 66.
The Eagles play Saturday at Rolling Meadows in the WIC Championships, tee time 9:00 A.M. They are busy next week hosting Hauser Monday, traveling to Indian Creek Wednesday, hosting Edinburgh Thursday, and finishing the week on Saturday, May 19, when they compete in the New Castle Invitational.
